A Little Chalk, a Lot of Talent!

September 26, 2010

I love to find things to do on the weekend that don’t require spending a lot of money. Last weekend we headed downtown for an art festival and had a great time walking among these chalk drawings. They had all been completed by the time we got there except for this one. Several artists were sitting around on the sidewalk having a great time laughing and talking as people roamed around enjoying their art. They looked like a bunch of chimney sweeps, covered in a myriad of chalk colors. What fun!

First off, great job with the rule of thirds on the first one! It really tells a story!! These are AMAZING pieces of art! Holy cow! I can’t believe people can do that with chalk! I can barely write with chalk :O)

spent my morning at the Anim. shelter Craft/eatery fair. It was free, but I managed to take lots of chances and bought goodies. I did see lots of dogs to get my fix, lots of friends /kids from town , so nothing like a free activity on a gorgeous Fall day.
