Find Time for Yourself

September 9, 2010

If you are anything like me, you probably don’t have enough hours in the day to accomplish everything that you would like. Going to work, running errands, deciding what to cook for dinner, rushing to appointments and sports practices, and somewhere in there finding time to sweep up the dust bunnies and pick up the clutter! Whew! Occasionally I find time to tune out all that really needs to be done and instead find something fun and creative to do. Thus developing this blog to share with you seemed appropriate. Although it may take awhile to find my “groove” in this colossal world of blogging I hope to create something here that you find inspiring, fun, or just a place to land and relax when you need a break from your day.

I’ve decided we need to create an extra day in the week but not tell spouses, significant others, or children.  We could use this special day to while away the hours doing whatever we love to do whether it is working on your favorite new creation, sewing, painting, taking a slow leisurely walk in the woods, or just taking it easy with a book, a warm bath, some wonderful music, and a cup of tea to rejuvenate your spirit. Remember take time for yourself….and have a little fun!
